One Pan Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 500g pork mince
  • 1 sachet chow mein seasoning
  • ½ cup chopped spring onions
  • ½ carrot, grated 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp water
  • For cooking:
  • Peanut oil
  • 1/3 cup water (for steaming)
  • 1 packet wonton/goyoza wrappers
  • Toppings:
  • Crispy chilli oil
  • Crispy shallots, sesame seeds, soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Combine filling ingredients. Roll into small balls
  2. Heat oil in frying pan on medium heat
  3. Add dumpling balls spaced apart and place wonton wrappers over filling
  4. Add 1/3 cup water and cover with a lid Cook for 1 minute
  5. Drizzle chilli oil, spring onions, crispy shallots and sesame seeds over the top and steam another few minutes until wrappers are translucent and soft
  6. Add toppings and serve
