Easter Bunny Cob Loaf

Ingredients

  • 1 cob loaf
  • 250g diced bacon, cooked
  • 250g cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup cream
  • 3/4 cup tasty cheese
  • 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 2 spring onions, sliced thinly
  • *Note - foil is also required for this recipe.

Instructions

  1. Cut the top off your cob loaf and scoop the insides out. Set them aside. Preheat the oven to 180ºC and place the loaf onto a tray.
  2. In a large bowl combine the cob filling. Stir well to combine.
  3. Spoon into the cob loaf, cover with foil and put into the oven for approximately 25 mins.
  4. Make bunny ears from the top/lid of the cob loaf, using a serrated knife.
  5. Remove the cob from the oven, remove the foil and place the ears into the cob loaf and place back into the oven for 10-15 minutes to brown (keeping an eye on it).
  6. Remove once cooked and golden brown. Serve warm. Enjoy!
