Easter Brunch Ham and Cheese Croissant Bake

Ingredients

  • 6 large croissants
  • 8 oz of sliced ham or prosciutto
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Garlic powder to taste
  • 1 Tbs Dijon mustard
  • 3 Tbs spring onions (save some for topping at the end)
  • 1 cup shredded tasty cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C and grease your baking dish with oil spray or butter.
  2. Tear the croissants into large pieces and arrange in baking dish.
  3. Tear pieces of ham and tuck in between the croissants.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, milk, Dijon, and spring onions (saving a few to sprinkle over the top when serving). Pour mixture over the croissants.
  5. Top with cheese and cover with foil.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, remove foil cover and bake for another 10 minutes. Sprinkle with spring onions to serve.
