Almond Croissant Crumpets

2 crumpets

30g melted butter

2 tablespoons of vanilla protein powder

1 tablespoon white sugar

1-2 tablespoons milk of choice

1/4 teaspoon almond extract

Topping:

Flaked almonds
-
Icing sugar
Instructions
- Make the almond paste by mixing the butter, protein powder, sugar, milk, and almond extract until it becomes a thick paste consistency
- Spread it over crumpets
- Sprinkle flaked almonds over the top
- Air-fry for 10 minutes at 170℃ or until golden
- Finish with a dusting of icing sugar.
